Our annual fishing tournament will be held on beautiful Lake Alfred Lake at Lion's Par, starting at safe daylight and ending at 2:00 P.M.. Entry fee is $65.00 per boat and $5.00 per person for Big Bass, Big Bass pays 100% payback). Payout for 1st - 4th place (based on 50 boats) will be as follows:

$200.00 3rd Place

Raffle Ticket will be sold prior to tournament for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 (need not be present to win). The drawing will be held after the weigh in. Register at Ron's Tackle Box, 380 South Lakeshore Way, Lake Alfred or at the ramp the day of the tournament. For further information, call Ron at (863) 956-4990.

Tournament Rules

  1. Each participant is responsible for abiding by all local, state, and federal rules, which apply to this tournament. Lake Alfred Chamber and/or Ron's Tackle Box are not responsible for enforcemnt.
  2. Participants should stay within (50) yards of another boat if the anchor is down.
  3. Boat lights must be on during dark hours or foggy conditions.
  4. No culling at the ramp.
  5. Fish MUST BE weighed in BEFORE boat is loaded on trailer.
  6. (5 FISH LIMIT) Each fish MUST BE 14" MINIMUM mouth closed to tail _ Golden Rule.
  7. Any dead fish weighed in will result in a penalty of 4 oz. per fish.
  8. Any participant weighing in a short fish wil be disqualified.
  9. Any protests MUST BE made BEFORE weigh in.
  10. There will be no pre-fishing day of tournament.
  11. Only one pole per person to be used at a time.
  12. Weigh-In Time is 2:00 p.m.






Free donuts and coffee will be donated by The First National Bank of Polk County before tournament begins.




On your return The Lake Alfred Chamber of Commerce will be serving Hot Dogs, Chips, and Drink for $2.00
